Meet Our Founder: Kate Evertsen
After over a decade in private school admissions and advancement experience — and as a mother to three children in private schools — I decided to do what I love best: to help families on the journey to finding the best private school for their families. I use the word family because a school is not just a place where a child is educated. That is a top priority, but school is also a community. School communities are made up of families that you will be with on the soccer fields, at birthday celebrations, and school fundraising events. The faculty, staff, and families within this community set a distinct tone for a school. There is so much to consider, and the competitive landscape within Nashville private school admissions does not help. But we can.
The goal of Edvocates is to do more than advise. We advocate for your child with clarity and confidence. We are warm, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. Every child is unique and beautiful and deserves to be understood and encouraged. We would be honored to help them find a place where they can thrive.
